We aim to accommodate all learners in accordance with our Equality and Diversity policy to ensure they can successfully participate in our training programmes and will be able to demonstrate their achievements for assessment purposes where applicable.
Our Quality Assurance Officer signs off a reasonable accommodation if we can make an adaptation that does not affect the standards of the given award, such as:
- Rest periods during programme delivery
- Modifying programme materials, e.g. presentation slides/handouts/assignment sheets
- Using a scribe or reader
- Assistive technology
- Extended time to complete assignments.
- Alternative format (braille, large print, audio, text)
- Communication Access Realtime Translation (CART)
- Scribe/notetaker
- Interpreter
- Take service animals on site
All requests for reasonable accommodation must be recorded using our Reasonable Accommodation Application Form below. The completed form should clearly describe the circumstances under which you request reasonable accommodation.
