The beauty and tragedy of life is we don’t always know what’s around the corner. A crisis or life-changing event such as ill-health, redundancy or debt can happen to any one of us when we least expect it and can result in financial difficulties.

The aim of CA Support is to provide much needed financial assistance to chartered accountants in times of crisis. On occasion, we can step in to provide financial support to give you a hand up if you are encountering serious hardship.

CA Support offers a range of financial supports that respond to meet individuals’ needs and are delivered in complete confidence. We can provide:

Short-term emergency financial support
One-off financial support to resolve a certain situation
Long-term financial support on occasions that are reviewed regularly
Training and CPD support

Who we help

Our goal is to help as many people as possible in our profession.

Whether you’re in training, in practice or in business, a current or a former member of the Chartered Accountants Ireland or Accounting Technicians Ireland (ATI), are on a career break, are unemployed or retired, in Ireland or abroad, we’re here for you.

We also help husbands and wives, life partners, widows and widowers, other dependent adults and children under 25.

CA Support's services rely on the kind donations made by individuals and organisations from across the accounting profession. You can help us make a real difference to your colleagues and their families in times of difficulty. However, you don’t have to donate to us to take advantage of our support. We never disclose information about you to anyone, including Chartered Accountants Ireland.
