Training options to qualify as a Chartered Accountant

There are two training options that you can take to qualify as a Chartered Accountant: the Training Contract or the Flexible Route pathway. Both options lead to the Chartered Accountancy qualification. Students take the same subjects, sit the same exams and are required to get the same practical work experience, the key difference with the flexible route is that the education and experience elements do not have to run concurrently.

Online exemption guide

Checking your starting point is one of the most important steps you can take when it comes to deciding to study Chartered Accountancy. This exemptions guide will give you an indication of what your starting point will be. You may have already covered some of our course material so we won't ask you to do it again.

How to apply

To get started you must create an account on our website and complete a short eligibility and exemption application. This is used to assess your starting point on the programme. Once this process is complete you will get access to the course enrolment application.

Students who are entering into a training contract will be enrolled to the course directly by their training firm.
