Francesca was appointed Group Chief Executive Officer in October 2017. Bank of Ireland is a diversified financial services group established in 1783 and is one of the largest financial services groups in Ireland.
- Francesca joined Bank of Ireland from the HSBC Group, where she held a number of key senior management roles over a twenty year period including Regional Head of Retail Banking and Wealth Management, UK and Europe; Regional Head of Retail Banking and Wealth Management, Middle East and North Africa; and Head of Personal Financial Services, Hong Kong.
- Francesca is a member of the PRA Practitioner Panel. She has previously served on the Board of the British Bankers’ Association (BBA), where she was Deputy Chair and on the Board of the National Centre for Universities and Business in the UK. Francesca has a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Politics, Philosophy and Economics from Oxford University.

- Dr Steve Aiken OBE MLA is the Ulster Unionist Party member of the Northern Ireland Assembly for South Antrim. Steve is the Parties Finance and BREXIT spokesperson, was until recently the Chair of the NI Assembly Finance Committee, and previously was Chair of the Economy Committee and Leader of the UUP. He is a member of the British-Irish, and Commonwealth Parliamentary Assemblies. Previously he was a Chief Executive at Dublin City University and was the founding Chief Executive of the British-Irish Chamber of Commerce and during a three decade long career in the Royal Navy, was a Nuclear Submarine Commanding Officer. He holds a PhD and MPhil from the University of Cambridge and is a regular contributor on national and local media
