Exemption criteria - BA Accounting and Finance

To claim exemptions from any part of CA Proficiency 1 (CAP1), candidates must achieve a minimum of a 2.ii honours degree. A mark of 50% in all relevant subjects is required and candidates must meet the criteria for individual subject exemptions.

Financial Accounting	ACCT B8007 Corporate Reporting & Accountability (Minimum mark of 50% required) ACCT B8005 Financial Accounting (Minimum mark of 40% required) ACCT B8002 Foundation Accounting (Minimum mark of 40% required)
Taxation	FNCE H3019 Taxation 1 (Minimum mark of 50% required) FNCE H3013 Taxation 2 (Minimum mark of 50% required)
Law for Accountants	LAW H1001 Business Law (Minimum mark of 50% required) LAW H1003 Company Law (Minimum mark of 50% required)
